While many of the bandsaw boxes we make are assembled from laminated wood, there are some we make from solid logs and blocks. We call these “log boxes”. Great care is taken to select not only the prettiest parts of the logs, but also the parts that are the most stable to weather the natural expansion and contraction of wood over time, temperature, and humidity.

Made from Black Walnut and Cherry, this run of log boxes are made from a combination of heart and sap wood parts of the tree. Some still look like the logs from which they came, whereas others are made from specific parts of the log. Either way, your eyes will be drawn to the continuous wood grain depth and flow.

We make them in different sizes and styles to appease your desires. Each of lined with a soft flock to gently cradle whatever you put in them.
