Inspired by an early console TV from the 1900s (oh yes, we absolutely went there and we’re not turning back!), this keepsake box isn’t just a home for your cherished mementos—it’s a time capsule of nostalgia! Imagine cradling your memories in a piece that evokes the sleek elegance of the Art Deco era, where every line is as sharp as your grandma’s wit and every curve is as smooth as your uncle's dance moves at weddings!
Black Walnut Treasure boxes
We brought together a splendid array of locally-sourced Black Walnut pieces, each one carefully selected to create our marvelous boxes. Imagine a marriage between the deep, rich brown heartwood, reminiscent of a warm cup of cocoa on a chilly evening, and the delicate, creamy sapwood that dances gracefully in contrast, like the softest clouds on a sunny day. This delightful duo isn’t just a feast for the eyes; it’s a beautiful harmony of nature’s artistry!
The Gord Keepsake Boxes
These delightful boxes spring from the enchanting imagination of our youngest daughter, whose love for pumpkins knows no bounds! Why not channel that passion into something whimsical and functional? Enter our charmingly crafted boxes, designed in the adorable shapes of various gourds – mostly pumpkins, of course! Bursting with color and cheer, these boxes are not just for storage; they’re a celebration of fun!
The Black Forest Boxes
I don’t know about you, but when I hear "Black Forest," my taste buds start doing the cha-cha! 🕺💃 I mean, who can resist the luscious combination of silky, sweet chocolate smothered in plump cherries?
We’ve handpicked exquisite Black Walnut, Cherry, and Maple wood to echo those mouthwatering colors, bringing a taste of the forest right into your living room.
The Half Moon Keepsake Box
Made from the finest White Oak and Cherry, these charming lidded boxes are not just any boxes – they’re half a circle of delight! Each box boasts a cozy interior lined with a plush, white flock that cradles your treasures like a gentle hug. Perfect for stashing everything from nostalgic love letters and childhood trinkets to precious jewelry and secret notes, these keepsake boxes are a delightful way to keep your memories safe and sound.
Log boxes
While many of the bandsaw boxes we make are assembled from laminated wood, there are some we make from solid logs and blocks. We call these “log boxes”. Great care is taken to select not only the prettiest parts of the logs, but also the parts that are the most stable to weather the natural expansion and contraction of wood over time, temperature, and humidity.
The Three Heart Boxes
These heart boxes are made from Cherry and Maple wood. The Maple blends with the Cherry sapwood to make a simple but stunning transition to the rich red heartwood. With a smooth, semigloss linseed oil and poly finish, they are not just appealing to the eye, but also satisfying to the touch. Finished with pink or red flock inside the drawers (by our flocking master Khloe) to create a soft and nurturing environment for your jewelry or other keepsakes. These will be available just in time for Mother’s Day!
